The Curse of the Black Pearl Minute 108: Window Shopping in Port Royal

Curse of the Black Pearl Episodes Season 1

We are once again joined by special guests Cassandra and Norman from Dueling Genre’s Lord of the Rings Minute as together we stroll down the streets of Port Royal window shopping for that perfectly large and oh so grandiose hat. On this episode of Pirates of the Caribbean Minute, we breakdown minute 108 of The Curse of the Black Pearl and learn about some long-lost Pirates of the Caribbean fan fiction detailing a day in the life of Davy’ Jones’ kraken. However, the fan fiction doesn’t end there as we hypothesize about Captain Jack Sparrow’s first encounter with Hector Barbossa while browsing for hats, discuss Jack’s steal a piece of Aztec gold insurance plan, ask the question if Will Turner has really put his trust in Jack, and we thoroughly analyze Jack’s motivation for revenge, his relationship with Barbossa, and how the nature of his character drives him to refrain from blatant killing.
